I started the afternoon by heading over to see Emily, of Real Life Beauty, at her new salon, now dubbed the #RLBhive. She gave me a fun 'do for the festivities. I wanted something casual, but different than my everyday look, and Emily had the perfect tricks up her sleeve. Even better, she showed up at J.Crew with some friends to shop for a cause!
Let's be clear that this is an amateur iPhone picture. The rest of the photos are by Sandy Swagger Photography;) |
J.Crew was fully stocked, not only with gorgeous new arrivals, but also with champagne and festive treats!
I don't have to be asked twice to shop with friends and champagne, but knowing that a portion of the proceeds would benefit such a worthy cause really did make the evening more meaningful and upbeat. It was such a pleasure working with all of the folks at J.Crew, Ocelia Hudson from Massey, Jordan Taylor of Petite Modern, Christina Dick of Tiramisu for Breakfast, and Sandy Swagger Photography. I have the best job! I'm so glad to be able to meet so many Richmonders making a difference in people's lives.
Speaking of job perks and collaborations, I want to let you guys in on another exciting event taking place in just a few weeks. I think the invitation speaks for itself, so I'll leave you to read it. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook, where I'll be posting more information and hosting some fun GIVEAWAYS!!
Doesn't that sound fun!?! Hope to see lots of you there.
