NEW-TO-ME DESIGNER: WILT

I spent last week at the beach in South Carolina with my huge, extended family (more pictures to prove it coming soon), and while I'd like to spend this week daydreaming about how much fun we had, I am overwhelmed catching up on things I put off whilst having all of that fun.  Such is life.

Garden City Beach, SC

On our way home from the beach, I had a "layover" at my mom's house in Columbia.  I had an hour to kill one afternoon, so I headed to a nearby cute shop called M Boutique.  I'd been in once before and was happy to see they were still thriving!  They have really great basics, in addition to a beautifully edited selection of unique, standout pieces.  Let's just say I didn't leave empty-handed!

I did, however, leave behind a really comfortable, easy, surprisingly flattering, slub cotton dress--mainly because the price was pretty steep.  It was a new-to-me brand called Wilt.  When I got home, I was still dreaming of it, so my online (re)search began!

I'm surprised that I didn't recognize the brand, because it's sold at some of my favorite places: Anthropologie, Saks, Shopbop, and Revolve, to name a few.  I discovered three exciting facts about this label (actually founded in 2009):

1.  Their pieces are all produced in the USA!
2.  They have a maternity line!  (For the record, I do not, nor will I ever again need maternity clothes, but some of my readers and clients might be interested in this fact.)
3.  You can sometimes find pieces on sale!  (Of course, the dress I want is not on sale anywhere, but I shall remain patient.)

What do you think?  Have you heard of Wilt?  Would you consider splurging on these casual cotton pieces?

As a personal stylist in Richmond, VA, I strive to make wardrobe choices clear and easy for women who are short on time, overwhelmed by their closets, or transitioning from one period of life to another.  Let's connect!
